.Gender. Feminine.
Type species. Smicromutilla powelli Mickel, 1964 (male, female; holotype male), by original designation.
Taxonomic history. Junior subjective synonym of Lomachaeta Mickel, 1936 according to Williams & Pitts, 2009: 229. Subjectively invalid name.
Sex association. The type species was described from both sexes by Mickel, 1964: 108.
Distribution. Nearctic.
