Description

Diacanthotilla Nonveiller, 1995 (as subgenus of Pristomutilla Ashmead, 1903). Entomofauna 16(5): 34 (in key); 107 (description). Female.

Gender. Feminine.

Type species. Pristomutilla diacantha Bischoff, 1921 (female), by original designation.

Taxonomic history. Considered as separate from Pristomutilla at the tribal level by Brothers & Lelej, 2017: 96, therefore as generically distinct. Valid generic name.

Sex association. The male has not been recognized.

Distribution. Afrotropical.
