Ferrisia meridionalis Williams
Material studied. URUGUAY: Juanicó, ex fruits of Cydonia oblonga (Rosaceae), 34°34’00.8”S 56°16’16.0”W, 6.ix.2018, coll. Pacheco da Silva, V.C., 2 adult ♀♀, ECFA No. 87.
Hosts. Polyphagous, reported on Ambrosia tenuifolia (Asteraceae), Manihot esculenta (Euphorbiaceae) (Williams 1985), Baccharis sp. (Asteraceae), Glycine max (Fabaceae), Hypericum perforatum (Clusiaceae) (Williams & Granara de Willink, 1992), and Diospyros kaki (Ebenaceae) (Pacheco da Silva et al. 2017).
Distribution. Neotropical region (García Morales et al. 2016).
