Description

Family HADROSAURIDAE

The vast majority ofthe hadrosaur specimens from the Laramie and Denver Formations cannot be identified below family level. At least two genera, Edmontosaurus and Anatotitan, are known from the coeval Lance and Hell Creek Formations making it impossible to refer the mostly fragmentary specimens from the Denver Basin to either genus. An exception is a pair of maxillae, described below.
