Description
Eclipta vitticollis (Bates, 1873).
Material examined. BRAZIL, Minas Gerais (new state record): São Roque de Minas (Canastra Forest; ethanol-baited FIT; Khaya ivorensis, stand planted in December 2012; 20°7′29.96″S / 46°27′11.11″W), 1 female, 6.X.2017, L.S. Covre col. (UNESP).
This species was originally described based on a single female from Brazil (Paraná), and currently it is known also from the Brazilian states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro (Monné 2018a); São Paulo firstly recorded by Zajciw & Campos-Seabra (1968), and the latter state due to the synonymy with Ommata (Eclipta) holosericea Zajciw, 1967, established by Monné & Giesbert (1992).
