Long-term triaxial test of Passwang Marl, Z-orientation

  • 1. Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources

Description

This data set describes a long-term (> 3 yr) rock mechanics experiment of Psswang Marl using a triaxial apparatus. The sample is consolidated and fully saturated. The bedding orientation is 45° to the main axis of the sample (Z-orientation). Confining stress, axial stress and pore pressure are changed multiple times in order to investigate dilatancy, pressure diffusion coefficients and Young's modulus.
