Description

Customisation of technology is ever closer to significantly accelerating and improving bioprocessing workflows. To induce some constructive debate, organisers from IRNAS have invited some of the top experts in related fields to share their experience. One of them was RealSense1 coordinator and RealSense2 co-coordinator Dr Ivana Gadjanski from the BioSense Institute. In this debate, she described what are we working on in the cellular agriculture field through two GFI-founded projects.

Notes

This work was funded in the framework of projects REALSENSE1: Monitoring of cell culture parameters using sensors for biomass and nutrients/metabolites in media: Lab-on-a-Chip (LOC) approach, and REALSENSE2: From lab-on-a-chip to custom bioreactor: scale up modeling study, from the Good Food Institute 2018 and 2020 Competitive Grant Programs.
