Se l'università può essere liberale

A long review of Kathleen Fitzpatrick's book: Generous Thinking. The University and the Public Good, whose purpose is making the university public again by re-embedding it in all the social relations that have been separated from it by conceiving research and higher education as "fictitious commodities". How could, however, a de-commodification of research and higher education be more than a lip service, in the current competitive academic environment? The review attempts to give a partial answer by focusing on the choice of a license designed to make "commoning" easier.
