Description
This paper will discuss the rationalism of Rene Descartes is an attempt to solve the problem “Why
does Rene Descartes accept the concept of reason in his philosophical system?” (Research
Problem) The answer to this question will be provided by showing that Descartes’ was one of the
famous rationalists who hold reason as the only valid source to attain certain knowledge.
(Tentative Solution) The research methods which will be used are descriptive method and
evaluative method. (Research Methods) This paper will contribute to realization than man is
rational begin, so reason is important role in human life. (Contribution)
