ModularImageAnalysis (MIA)

New plugin features

• The default behaviour for showing images (i.e. via eyeball button) can be controlled from Edit > Preferences. This sets composite mode and intensity normalisation.

New modules

• CreateImageCrops will create a cropped image stack (along time axis) for individual 3D objects. This could be useful for identifying objects, then performing analyses on each cropped image. They could also be exported to individual image files.
• GetCurrentDateAndTime module lets the current time and date be exported as metadata. This could be useful for appending custom timestamps onto files (or output folders).
• FitPolynomial lets polynomials be fit to images. This could be useful for background estimation. This bundles the Fit_Polynomial plugin.

New module features

• Intensity measurement modules now also report integrated density
• Significant rewrite of K-function analyses. These now also output L(r) and L(r) measurements as well as estimating confidence intervals based on simulations.

Other

• Fixed overestimation in spline length calculation from MeasureObjectCurvature
