Analisis Matematis Fenomena Fisik Permainan Tarik Tambang

Description

The Tug of war is a popular traditional game in Indonesia. This game is played in many society
and in many community occasional such in Indonesian independence day. The game aspects of
benefits, both in terms of social as well as physical activities or sports This game is also played
around the world and played by children and adults. Tug of war is played by two groups that
connected with a rope. Each group pull the rope up to beyond a predetermined limit. The
physical activities during the game can cause several kinds of injuries especially skin injury,
muscles and bones. This article is aimed to analyze the physical of tug of war with mathematical
model based on existing physical phenomenon. The model is contruct by assuming the Tug of
war as two objects connected with a rope. The analysis is done by consideration of the forces
acting in the model. The analysis result shows agreement with references.
