Remarks. Little is known about the biology and ecology of this species, but probably like the precedent species the adults are associated with bees and paper wasps, feeding on pollen and broods. For instance, Gomes Alves (1973) referred that the Silva Porto (=Cuito) specimens were collected in a honey bee hive. It seems a common species in Angola. It is a new species record for the Huambo Province.
