Favism, that is G6PD deficiency, and drugs for Covid-19

In this document it is told that "Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine currently applied to COVID-19 patients should be avoided in those with severe G6PD deficiency as they could trigger a hemolytic crisis in the patient".
