TL: Ceylon [= Sri Lanka].
Distribution: India (Himachal Pradesh Jammu & Kashmir, Meghalaya, Uttarakhand); Brunei; China; Indonesia (Java); Malaysia; Nepal; Sabah; Sarawak; Sri Lanka; Thailand; Vietnam (Diakonoff 1976; Robinson et al. 1994; Razowski 2006; Koçak & Kemal 2012; Nedoshivina 2013).
Hosts: Reported host plants include Eucharis grandiflora (Amaryllidaceae), Mangifera indica (Anacardiaceae), Daucus carota (Apiaceae), Stephanotis floribunda (Asclepiadaceae), Aster tripolium, Pluchea indica (Asteraceae), Calophyllum inophyllum (Clusiaceae), Shorea roxburghii (Dipterocarpaceae), Diospyros kaki (Ebenaceae), Acalypha, Glochidion, Ricinus (Euphorbiaceae), Acacia decurrens, Acacia mearnsii, Albizia saman, Glycine soja, Indigofera tinctoria (Fabaceae), Castanea mollissima (Fagaceae), Pelargonium (Geraniaceae), Ginkgo biloba (Ginkgoaceae), Juglans regia (Juglandaceae), Cinnamomum camphora, Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Lauraceae), Abelmoschus esculentus (Malvaceae), Eucalyptus robusta, Psidium guajava (Myrtaceae), Averrhoa carambola (Oxalidaceae), Pinus elliottii (Pinaceae), Prunus avium (Rosaceae), Coffea arabica (Rubiaceae), Dimocarpus longan, Nephelium lappaceum (Sapindaceae), Melochia umbellata, Theobroma cacao (Sterculiaceae), Camellia sinensis (Theaceae), and Duranta erecta (Verbenaceae) (Robinson et al. 2001; Brown et al. 2008).
