Argyroploce encarpa Meyrick, 1920, Exotic Microlepid. 2: 349.
TL: India, Bengal, Calcutta [now Kolkata, West Bengal].
Distribution: India (West Bengal); Malaysia; New Guinea; Sri Lanka; Vietnam (Komai 1999; Koçak & Kemal 2012; Nedoshivina 2013).
Hosts: Reported larval hosts include Phyllanthus emblica (Euphorbiaceae), Citrus aurantium, Citrus tangerina (Rutaceae), Litchi chinensis (Sapindaceae), Theobroma cacao (Sterculiaceae) (Meyrick 1920; Fletcher 1932; Bradley 1953; Baker 1976; Diakonoff 1968; Gumbek 1986; Komai 1999).
