Distribution Palaearctic (excluding north) (Angelov 1978; Fremuth 1982; Cholokava 1996; Meregalli & Fremuth 2013; Arzanov 2015).

Suchkov leg., 5.vii.2015; 1 spec. (NSPU) Hola Pristan Distr., Burkuty, P.N. Sheshurak leg., 5.vii.1996; 1 spec. (NSPU) idem, 1.vii.1996; Zaporizhia Prov.: 1 spec. (SSC) Pryazovske Distr., Stepanovskaya Spit, S.I. Suchkov leg., 28.iv.2000; 1 spec. (IKC) Melitopol Distr., Tikhonovka, under dry dung, I. V. Kovalev leg., 19.iv.2008.

Biology. Sandy and salty habitats. Adults occur in IV–VII. Host plants in Ukraine are not yet detected but in

Great Britain adults probably feed on Calluna vulgaris (Ericaceae) (Bullock 1992).
