Description

Abacetus crenulatus Dejean, 1931

Material examined. WMR: 1150 m: 16.IV.2016, LT, 3 ♂, 3 ♀. 1467 m: 23.II.2014, HP, 1 ♂, 2 ♀. GRNR: 1614 m: 31.VII.2015, LT, 1 ♂. 1897 m: 26.IV.2014, LT, 1 ♀.

Distribution. AFR species distributed in western and central Africa (BF, BJ, CI, ML, MR, SN, TD. A new record for the Arabian Peninsula.

Life forms and Remarks. ZS(D)LS. It was collected from an area dominated by Acacia at the bottom of GRNR and also from Opuntia ficus-indica dominated community within the GRNR.
