Aulacus biroi (Szépligeti) Smith 2001: 269, comb. nov; Jennings 2010 [on-line checklist].
The whereabouts of the holotype female labelled "N. S. Wales: Sydney", and listed as being in the HNHM, is unknown. We have not been able to associate any extant specimens based on the very brief original description. We have therefore placed this species as incertae sedis.
