Description
Scarabaeus parallelipipedus Linnaeus 1758: 354, original combination. Palearctic synonymy given in Bartolozzi and Sprecher-Uebersax (2006).

This species is distributed in Europe, Asia, and Northern Africa (Bartolozzi & Sprecher-Uebersax 2006).
