Description
Project O2 is devoted to studying macroscopic fundamental digram (MFD) as the CAVs penetrated into the transportation system. The project includes three research aspects: 1) Develop a lane-changing algorithm for CAVs to move efficiently in the mixed CAV-HV environment; 2) Analytically derive the corridor MFDs in the mixed environment; 3) Develop an MFD-based discrete network design problem.
The attached paper belongs to the third research aspect. For the first two research contents, the papers will be published soon. Data and programming codes can be found in the Conclusion part of each paper.
