History of restoration of the palace and park ensemble of Kirill Razumovsky in Baturin in 1947–1949

In the article, on the basis of normative legal documents, materials found from the Central State Archive of Supreme Bodies of Power and Government of Ukraine (TsDAVO of Ukraine), documentation of the Ukrainian State Scientific-Research and Design Institute «UkrNDIproektrestravratsiya» (formerly – «Budmonument» trust) were analyzed the preconditions for organization of restoration of the hetman Kirill Razumovsky Palace in the town of Baturyn, Chernihiv region in 1947–1949. The methodology of the research is based on a systematic approach and, thanks to specific problematic and historical methods, fully meets the objectives of the research, which logically appear according to the purpose. Scientific novelty. Introduction of new information on the restoration of K. Razumovsky’s Baturin Palace on the basis of archival sources of the Central State Archive of Supreme Bodies of Power and Government of Ukraine and “UkrNDIproektrestravratsiya”. The conclusions of the architectural and construction inspection on the technical project of restoration and historical reference were considered.  
The issue of restoration of the hetman Kirill Razumovsky Palace and Park ensemble in 1947–1948 remains poorly studied despite the available archival documents and scientific research, related to this period. In most sources, this event appears as «conservation work in accordance with project decisions of the «Budmonument» trust, developed by a group of architects under the leadership of Mykola Terziyev».  In this article will be made an attempt to reveal the issue of the restoration of the hetman Kirill Razumovsky Palace in 1947–1949 on the basis of archival documents, found in the Central State Archive of Supreme Bodies of Power and Government of Ukraine and materials from the funds of the Ukrainian State Scientific-Research and Design Institute «UkrNDIproektrestravratsiya».
