"Kathrina", a Prediction Model for Determination of gall Infection in Medicinal Plants in Sant Katherine Protectorate

Sant Katherine protectorate has been recognized by the IUCN as one of the most important regions for floral diversity in the Middle East.  Many different medicinal plants that are subjected to gall inducing insects in St. Katherine protectorate (SKP). There is still a gap in knowing the most important plant galls in SKP. Every medicinal host plant species may has one or more parts that are subjected to gall formation.

Different ecological factors, such as altitude, vegetation cover were affected the temporal and spatial distribution of insect galls.
