Description
Sclerogibba africana (Kieffer, 1904)
Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: United Arab Emirates (new record), Yemen (Olmi 2005).
Extralimital distribution: Widely distributed in the Afrotropical, Indo-Malay and Nearctic regions (Olmi 2005).
Remarks: The new record is based on the following specimens: Abu Dhabi, Al Wathba Wetland Reserve, 1–31.I.2015, Malaise trap, No.176, A. Saji & A. van Harten leg., 2 females (MOLC).
