In the 21st century - the century of information technologies, the role of the teacher changes considerably, the role of practitioner being added by the researcher.In this article we try to find an answer to what is the concept of research in the vision of the scientists concerned about the given problem. There is also an emphasis on reflective practice, which is a premise of metacognitive competence and a feature of a scientific researcher.
