Leodice metatropos (Hanley, 1986) n. comb.

Eunice metatropos Hanley, 1986: 215–221, figs. 1–3.

Material examined. Western Australia. N.W. Shelf, 80 m, trawled specimens, coll. Observer crew on Chick Fa No. l, id. Russell Hanley, 1986, AM W.201437 (1, PARATYPE), AM W.201438 (1, PARATYPE), USNM # 101342 (1, PARATYPE), USNM # 101343 (1, PARATYPE).

Remarks. This species has paired MxIII, a condition present in few species of eunicids (see Fauchald, 1992 for a discussion). All four paratypes examined are in very poor condition

Type locality. Western Australia.
