Data curator in the middle: Curating data for a diverse community of stakeholders

This presentation describes a number of signposting activities to assist users to navigate a complex social science data infrastructure, with a special focus on the Index of Measures database. 

The Index provides information on a series of psychometric tools that have been used in social research with children, young adults and their families in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The description of each tool links to available data and publications in the archives that enable the user to review how the tool performed in an Irish context. 

The Index is designed for communities who do not traditionally engage with archived social science data, and also functions as a way to identify variables of interest within more complex data sets.
