Heaven continually had a high and important position amongst the the natural phenomena. and has been the axis for thoughts and bileves The remains of the ancient peoples reflects this importance .Heaven origin and it,s formation, shape, structure ,inhabitants ,functions and duties, it,s relationship to earth and influence on life of the earthly creatures are all the objects would be survey in this article .To this purpose the mythology and accepted stories by civil ancient peoples include Greeks ,Romans ,Mesopotamia inhabitants ,Indu & Vedic religion followers and ancient Chinese related to heaven will be discussed .On the basis this survey the position of heaven among these people is too higher than a natural phenomenon as a great god with perfection attributes and with important functions in the world.
