New Model for Specialized Foster Home Care for Traumatized Children in Norway Author: David Adam Braimer July 2016
Description
There are unpleasing stories concerning social workers coming to the aid of children who have fallen victims of neglect and abuse within the societies (Dunn et al 2012, pg 521). These are practical happenings that by no means should be neglected given that children are the most vulnerable part of the society when exposed to environment that can harm their lives. According to Leve (2012, pg 119), this is because they tend to be easily convinced and cannot effectively evaluate the situation they are in before making sound decisions on issues. According to Berrick & Skivenes 2013, pg. 430) due to this fact, children are not safe in environments that are not controlled by understanding adults who have their interests at heart. Masten (2014, pg. 12) adds that sometimes children end up in the environments that have got negative impacts on their lives either because of the negligence of their caretakers and parents or because of influence that they get through their fellows in the name of adventure, also supported by Pösö, Skivenes & Hestbæk 2014, pg. 480).
The efforts being made to help mould the children are significant contribution towards improving their lives and the entire future of the community (Woods, Farineau, & McWey 2013, pg. 234). The children form the future of any community and therefore any molding of their lives is paramount to the future well-being of the community. This is a fact that has been in knowledge for ages because the currents adults and leaders were once children and the molding that they got while growing up anywhere, whether in their homes by their real parents or foster parents, has a key contribution to the type of life that they are living and the kinds of jobs that they are undertaking (Nelson, 2014, pg.56) and (Sköld 2013, pg. 23). In simple terms we can say that the present generation is a product of the past care provided by the various caregivers in the society to the children.

The implementation of specialized fostering program country by Bufetat assists in molding up a good society out of children by showing them the right paths to follow in times of dilemma like when faced with challenging situations that require professional intervention (Hedegaard, 2012, pg. 45) and (Christiansen et al. 2013, pg. 321). We have witnessed over time many children getting rehabilitated through fostering programs by guiding them safely out of drug and substance abuse and other potentially destructive lifestyles that could otherwise jeopardize their bright future (Cusick et al. 2012. Pg 25) and (Orlans & Levy 2014, pg. 23). The efforts being made by foster homes are commendable and their efforts towards bettering the children are equally worth supporting. The commitment that the foster homes and families have to the children is great and by all means important to the future generation. This translates to the implementation of the fostering programs to be as well important in bringing up a responsible society (Elias et al. 2012, pg 997). As a foster home, we have in place strategies that are in sync with the basic rights of children through the qualified staff and the relevant resources that are at our disposal in handling cases of children (Vissing 2015, pg.377). This foster home project is one that we have trust in to be a realistic and important part of children from all calibers who have been exposed to compromising environments.
