Intermediate asymptotics in $L\sp 1$ for general nonlinear diffusion equations

We prove intermediate asymptotics results in L1 for general nonlinear diffusion equa- tions which behave like power laws at the origin using relative entropy methods and generalized Sobolev inequalities.
