Description
Refrigeration is a process of keeping a system or surroundings at a temperature lower than ambient temperature. It has many advantages. It helps in keeping bodies at lower temperature so that it does not perish. Also it gives cooling effect during summer when ambient temperature is high. There are many ways or processes refrigeration can be done. At present compression refrigeration system is used at large scale which uses electrical energy produced from conventional sources like coal, natural gas, etc. The present paper deals with the different refrigeration cycles along with its working.
