Persepsi Masyarakat Terhadap Kawasan Wisata Pantai Padang, Sumatera Barat

Padang city is one of the Beach Cities in Indonesia, which has a tourist and recreational activities on the beach. The Padang beach in the central coast city of Padang is one of the west coasts of Sumatera, which has a long coastline. The Padang beach became one of the destinations for the community and tourists who come to the city of Padang. In its development activities and recreation in Taplau Padang Beach has a logical consequence on the impact of Economic, Societies, and Environmental. The purpose of this study was to analyze people's perceptions of the Padang beach tourism area. The research method used in making this article is a qualitative approach. The study is to examine people's opinions of the Padang coastal area. Therefore I use qualitative research methods. Padang beach tourism area gives logical consequences in the form of positive and negative influences. The positive effect was seen on the impact on the life of the community around the Padang coastal tourism area in terms of economic, social, and environmental aspects.
