New Aspects of Roman villae in Styria, Austria – Novi pogledi na rimske vile na avstrijskem Štajerskem
Description
The Southeast part of Noricum, the territory of the municipium Flavia Solva (Wagna bei Leibnitz, Styria), was characterised by a flourishing agrarian economy and exemplified by a number of Roman villae especially along the river courses, such as the Mur and the Lassnitz. Two of those villae, Grünau and Forst-Thalerhof, whose existence was known for some time, were recently re-examined.
