Description

Hydrogen production has been increasing in recent years, especially since it is considered the fuel of the future. Different ways of obtaining have been reported in the literature. An alternative that has been investigated is by biological pathway using microorganisms from agroindustrial wastes. One of the waste produced by the country is glycerol, due to the production of biodiesel. The use of this waste as a raw material for hydrogen production is an alternative that can be evaluated. This review presents the analysis of the publications presented in the last ten years. Initially, three databases were consulted: Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar. Subsequently with the information from Scopus, the analysis was carried out to find trends in research on the subject. Based on the information, it was found that the topic is little researched globally, so there is an opportunity to have a citation when publishing on this subject.
