Description
Fuktcentrum, an interest group of researchers working in the field of moisture in Sweden, offers training for moisture specialists. The purpose of the training is to meet the needs of society through the new building regulations BBR 2007, requesting a more thorough way of working with moisture safety issues in the building process. The training is meant for people working actively in the building process. The training is arranged as five two-day pass focusing on different subjects: Moisture theory, moisture critical structures and components, moisture safety in the building process, moisture rounds, moisture calculations, moisture safety design and moisture measurements and control. After each training occasion, a task corresponding to 3 days work is given as home work. To be able to hold the course at a high educational level, the previous knowledge of the candidate is tested through a diagnostic test before start of the training. Finally, the knowledge will be tested through a written exam. The training was first offered during the autumn 2007, altering between LTH Lund University and SP Swedish Technical Research Institute. At this point about 30 persons has been following the training and will hopefully be holding a diploma in the end of the year.
