Description

Knowledge sharing and preservation has become paramount to the survival of society both in Africa and the rest of the world. Africa has a dire need of research-based solutions that can help transform its economy and the livelihoods of its people. Research works conducted in the past have only been useful for awarding students grades and earning them certificates. Very little can be said about how useful these researches have been to the development of a country or society. Oti hopefully seeks to nip this plight in a bud as it will serve as a repository for research works and projects. It will further support researchers and students with open source research tools to foster quality research. With the hope of becoming a community, Oti will bring together volunteer researchers and students who can support users of the site with research advice and foster collaborations. The integration of artificially intelligent system is to help with data collection across the internet and point researchers to sources of data and information useful to ongoing research work. Eventually, it is expected that half of all students research conducted in these countries will be deposited in Oti after it has fully been launched.
