  • 1. US Department of Energy, United States of America

Description

The US Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) fulfills the agency-wide responsibilities to collect, preserve, and disseminate research results emanating from DOE-funded R&D activities. OSTI developed and maintains OSTI.GOV, the primary search tool for DOE science, technology, and engineering research and development results and the organizational hub for information about the DOE OSTI. OSTI.GOV was redesigned and launched in 2018 to support a modern, unified user environment linking DOE-funded R&D results with related research. OSTI.GOV makes discoverable over 70 years of research results from DOE and its predecessor agencies, including journal articles/accepted manuscripts and related metadata; technical reports; scientific research datasets and collections; scientific software; patents; conference and workshop papers; books and theses; and multimedia. All of these records are indexed in common search engines including Google, Bing, Google Scholar, and Google Dataset Search.
