Eco books as a new trend in modern book publishing
Description
The article is devoted to the research of ecological printed editions in the modern publishing market of Ukraine, to study the peculiarities of their implementation and to analyze the impact of selected editions on the recipients. Book copies selected for research were analyzed in terms of design features, thematic content, compliance with environmental requirements and their implementation. It also describes the appearance of prints, the structure and the specifics of the selected copies are compared with each other.
The results of the scientific work testify to the development of environmentally conscious consumption among Ukrainian publishers and the reorientation of values through the dissemination of information to their target audience. The article outlines the need to create similar environmental publishing projects with environmental activists, disseminate informed consumption, and increase the impact of new eco-trends in Ukraine.
The novelty of the article is to find and study the specifics of the work of contemporary Ukrainian publishing houses, such as the publishing house "Ranok", which are beginning to follow relatively new environmental trends in the domestic space.
Given the rapid evolution of conscious human consumption, the publishing house has produced a series of small children's encyclopedias made from recycled recycled materials showing eco-monuments for young readers and their parents and how to preserve their own city and forest resources.
