SKYSCRAPER MASTER TEACHER ADVANCED WORKSHOP: A PROJECT-BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCE

The Skyscraper Master Teacher Advanced Workshop was developed as part of the NASA funded CDIO in Aerospace Engineering Education project. The workshop's overall goal is to introduce faculty members to project based learning as a pedagogical approach and to prepare them as Master Teachers. In particular, the workshop is intended to help them learn through first-hand experience how to promote students' ability to describe, anticipate, and plan for some of the realistic factors encountered in an engineering project. As Master Teachers, participants will be prepared to teach others how to incorporate Project Based Learning into their courses.
