Engineering Reasoning: Teaching Critical Thinking in Engineering Education
Description
This workshop will focus on critical thinking concepts of as they apply to any
engineering discipline, contextualizing Richard Paul's Critical Thinking
model to the engineering enterprise for both the engineering educator and
industry leader.
Through active learning experiences, faculty members will learn how to use the
Paul model to boost student thinking skills.
3 hours is desired for this advanced workshop, though it can be adapted to
either longer or shorter formats as well.
