Description
Coal fired power plants account for 40% of worldwide CO2 emissions. For many decades to come, the only mitigation option will be to bury the CO2 deep under ground or under water through a concept known as Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). However, the price of CCS is still too high for implementation. This project treats the Carbonate Looping process which can reduce the cost of CCS significantly and thereby drastically reduce worldwide CO2 emissions.
