Description
68. Orthomorpha crucifer (Pocock, 1889)
Paradesmus crucifer Pocock, 1889: 293 (D).
Orthomorpha crucifera (sic!) — Attems, 1898: 331 (D, K); 1914: 238 (L); 1936: 204 (L); 1937: 93 (L); Jeekel, 1968: 56 (M); Golovatch, 1998: 42 (M, K).
Orthomorpha crucifer— Likhitrakarn et al., 2011: 114 (L, M, K); Nguyen and Sierwald, 2013: 1249 (L).
Record from Myanmar: Mergui Archipelago, King Island (Pocock 1889). Based on the female holotype alone. Remark. Since this species was described from the female holotype (Pocock 1889), it still remains dubious (Golovatch 1998). Male topotypic material can help solve its status.
