Management of white clover living mulch to allow the development of winter cereals

• Living mulches provide and conserve nitrogen for companion or following crops, reduce soil erosion, reduce weed pressure,
and increase soil organic matter content (Hartwig and Ammon 2002) - White clover (WC) = a potential living mulch.
• Nevertheless, WC can also be a strong competitor for available resources and leads to main crop yield reduction. How to reduce WC competitive advantage ?
