High-cadence transient observations from ZTF
Description
I will provide an updated review on our studies of infant supernovae shortly after explosion and show the range of progenitors studied from supergiants to compact CO stars. In particular I will present our most recent discovery of a new type of stellar explosion arising from a compact CO progenitor within an expanding CO nebula.
