Bi-directional LoRaWAN Protocol and IoT Application on Smart Water Meters

In this study, the LoRaWAN protocol based remote reading method that communicates using LoRa modulation technique is 
presented. The proposed method was applied for water flow meters and successful results were obtained. In the related application, 
the bi-directional communication between the flow meter and the LoRa server is provided, thereby improving the accuracy and reliability of the reading operation. In addition, the activation of the flow meters to the LoRa server with different methods, the 
operations that can be performed on the server, the sending of work orders and the control of the work orders are explained.
