FRBR Aggregates as Collections
Description
A talk I gave at a meeting of the Metro-DC chapter meet of code4lib, in which I attempted to explain FRBR (Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records), and the difficulty in describing things that can be broken down and recombined. I proposed a new way of looking at aggregates as "collections", and showed some interesting types of searches that we could do if there were standards for sharing the collections. I use examples from British comedy, Star Wars, and solar physics.
