Mathematics and Philosophy, Tendency to Correlation
Description
The relationship between mathematics and philosophy can make different approaches meet thanks to its ability to explain reality using abstract models. When the disciplines differ, this lies in the concretion of this abstraction in which there is a direct application in the sciences or in the sense of life, which is more humanistic. This supposed practicality often provokes a tendency: to diminish the philosophy from study plans. We claim that it is a function of philosophy to endow the sciences with a means of obtaining the sense of their models (theoretical-practical), which is why we propose to reformulate the curricula towards a second humanism.
