THE PERFORMANCE OF THE VARIOUS CHARGE CONTROLLERS- A REVIEW STUDY

The  charge  controller  in  a  solar  system  plays  an  important  role  in  filling  the  battery 
backup. The charge controller needs to give the controlled output to the battery until the battery 
is  fully  charged. When  the  battery  is  charged  the  charge  controller  usually  stops  charging  the 
battery. The solar charge controller usually contribute to the efficiency of the performance of the 
solar system. Usually the solar system has an efficiency of 18% to 20%. There are various factors 
effecting  the efficiency of  the solar system. One of  the factor being  the performance of  the solar
