A New Engineering Model of Lightning M-Component that Reproduces Its Electric Field Waveforms at Both Close and Far Distances

The provided data include channel base current and its associated electric field (at 14.7 km) for four M-components. All the events are associated with upward negative flashes recorded at the Säntis Tower.
