ГІГАНТСЬКИЙ, МОНУМЕНТАЛЬНИЙ, ВЕЛИЧНИЙ: ЯК ПРОГРЕСИВНИЙ РЯД ВЛАСТИВОСТЕЙ СКУЛЬПТУРИ

In the article it is considered the questions related to the interpretation and meaning of the term “monumental” and his affiliation with the characteristics and formative qualities of sculpture. To create a coherent theoretical picture are analized scientific achievements of famous Ukrainian and foreign researchers and practicing sculptors. The study focuses on the examination of monumental sculpture as an object which has significant aesthetic force of impact on the viewer.
