Динаміка економічного розвитку підприємств будівельного сектору України

The construction sector is one of the basic sectors of the economy of every country in the world. The level of its development has a significant impact on the economic security of the state. The involvement of construction in many socio-economic processes and its interconnection with all sectors of the economy make it a significant component of the country's economic growth. With the participation of the construction sector, the primary physiological needs of society in housing and protection are realized. Due to the fundraising function, the basic funds (buildings and structures) are provided by the subjects of private, state and communal ownership of all types of economic activity. In this case, capital markets, goods and services, labor resources are formed; commercial, transport and socio-cultural infrastructure is developing.

The development of enterprises in the construction sector of Ukraine is hampered by many diverse issues of socio-economic, financial, institutional, technical, technological and organizational nature. Their occurrence is mainly related to the activity of developers, the state of adjacent markets, the presence of administrative barriers, which excessively restrains entrepreneurial activity and contributes to the emergence of oligopolistic structures.

The essence of functioning of construction sector of Ukraine is considered. The quarterly dynamics of GDP, housing and capital investment in Ukraine are outlined. The peculiarities of functioning of construction enterprises in the conditions of influence of macroeconomic factors are analyzed. The different periods of development of construction enterprises are distinguished. Some deformation of the structure of the construction sector has been revealed in the context of macroeconomic structural changes.
